Sparkle / Schmetterling

I used to be dancing with a tiny butterfly.
I sparkled just like the morning dew.
She stated:  “I like your sparkle.”
I stated: “I like your wings.”
And we danced,
And have been nice mates.

This can be a poem I wrote on the dancefloor at a Lifeless Sky live performance on 1/15.  It was impressed by a dialog I had with Spooky and Casey’s daughter.  I used to be sporting The Sparkle Jacket.  She was flapping round in butterfly wings.  She advised me that we had one of the best outfits in the entire joint.  The poem that began constructing in my head afterwards was distracting me from the music so I finished dancing, bought out my telephone, and wrote it down proper then and there in the course of the dancefloor.  I am sharing it in celebration of the twenty fifth National Poetry Month.
