Assistant Professor Ashley Cureton has been named a 2022 Public Engagement College Fellow by the U-M Middle for Tutorial Innovation. The cohort of 14 fellows will take part in an intensive program designed to construct engagement abilities, perceive key public-engagement ideas and mirror collectively on how public engagement suits into their scholarly identities.
“This program will assist me to mirror on how public engagement suits into my scholarly identification. I’m dedicated to contemplating the breadth of ways in which my analysis creates public impression, from designing reveals to working with policymakers to conducting community-engaged analysis tasks to develop interventions and applications and to amplify the voices of refugee populations within the U.S. and overseas,” stated Cureton.
