Two PhD Students Receive 2022 Next Generation Initiative Awards

Two Michigan Social Work PhD college students have acquired 2022 Subsequent Technology Initiative Awards from the Institute of Social Analysis. Analidis Ochoa was awarded a Marshall Weinberg Endowment for her venture “Blood Veins for Rent: Plasma Donation in an age of Inequality, Instability, and Precarious Work.” Briana Starks acquired a Sarri Household Fellowship for Analysis on Instructional Attainment of Youngsters in Low Earnings Households for her venture “Diapers, Debt, & Levels: The Sensible and Theoretical Implications of Maternal Postnatal Instructional Attainment.”
