Please help the NASW Mississippi Chapter address state’s capital’s water crisis

Latest flooding in Mississippi induced an already struggling water remedy plant within the state capital of Jackson to break down. Residents within the metropolis of 150,000 are having problem getting water to drink or to flush bathrooms, prompting town to shut faculties and enterprise and residents to attend in lengthy traces for water.

The NASW Mississippi Chapter has mobilized volunteers to assist and is in search of donations.

Instructed donations embody:

  1. Water
  2. Drinks (Gatorade, juice, sodas, and so forth.)
  3. Snacks
  4. Non-perishable gadgets
  5. Wipes(biodegradable)
  6. Toiletries
  7. Reward playing cards (Wal-Mart, Kroger, VISA, and so forth.: Help with restocking meals pantry)
