Kenneth Sayre, professor emeritus of philosophy on the College of Notre Dame, has died.
Kenneth Sayre labored on a variety of areas in philosophy, together with cybernetics, synthetic intelligence, data idea, philosophy of thoughts, environmental philosophy, epistemology, and Plato. He was one of many first philosophers actively concerned within the area of synthetic intelligence, and was the founding director, in 1965, of Notre Dame’s Philosophic Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
