Layman Pang stated, “The core of the Diamond Sutra is to chop all illusions. From the very first phrase to the final, all of them are simply the best way false names are organized.”
Scholar: “If from the very first phrase to the final within the Diamond Sutra, all of them are simply the best way false names are organized, why did the Buddha say such false names?”
Grasp: “They aren’t the phrases the Buddha stated.”
Commentary:
The phrases that may be dictated are usually not the Buddha’s phrases.
