Assistant Professor Rebeccah Sokol is the principal investigator of a three-year mission lately funded by the CDC entitled “Evaluating a school-based social and materials wants identification system to forestall youth violence involvement.” The mission will consider the impact of Pathways to Potential (P2P) on youth violence outcomes through the use of administrative knowledge sources and surveys of key program workers. P2P is a Michigan Division of Well being and Human Providers program that seeks to enhance college communities’ social situations by figuring out and lowering the extent and focus of danger elements for continual absenteeism. Professor Joe Ryan is a co-investigator of this mission.
