The Oxfordshire Blue Plaques Board has honored philosophers Philippa Foot and Iris Murdoch with plaques at their former houses.
The Blue Plaques program “promotes recognition and consciousness of individuals, locations and occasions which have been of lasting significance within the lifetime of Oxfordshire or extra broadly.”
