Commentary:
We needs to be conscious that the previous girl was testing Rinzai to see whether or not he had the knowledge to discern the true-Self that’s the essence of Horin with out being deluded by the phrases ‘Horin is away simply now, so you can’t go to him’. When Rinzai requested her the place he had gone, she confirmed the true-Self by strolling off. Greedy the lady’s that means, Rinzai referred to as after her and hit her when she returned as a token of appreciating her intention.
