Actually seeing will not be seeing what’s seen, however seeing what will not be seen. Actually realizing will not be realizing what is thought, however realizing what will not be recognized.

Scholar: “What’s it to see what will not be seen?”

Grasp: “It’s to see the flower.”

Scholar: “The flower is what’s seen. I can see it, too.”

Grasp: “I imply a flower that by no means withers.”

Commentary:

One who can see a flower that by no means withers won’t ever age.
