September is Self-Care Consciousness Month. Additionally, this month marks the seven-year anniversary (Wow!) of this Self-Care, A-Z weblog. Since its inception, this weblog has mentioned a variety of subjects that inform and promote wholistic, expansive self-care. As articulated in its initial post, the weblog is a discussion board for sharing successes, struggles, and techniques—with dozens of visitor contributors.

In celebration of this anniversary and of September Self-Care Consciousness Month, we invite you to deepen consciousness and activation of self-care. The calendar (under) supplies a every day dose of self-care, with a hyperlink to a short weblog publish to develop your understanding of self-care and find out how to combine it as a way of life. Please, use this useful resource and share it with others!

The sampling of posts used on this calendar represents an intensive repository of sources to assist self-care. When you’re on the weblog website, take a look at different posts which will resonate along with your self-care journey.

Download calendar in Word file with clickable links.

Because the weblog enters a “new 12 months,” please proceed studying and sharing it to advertise self-care. And, take into account contributing a visitor publish. Collectively, let’s re-story self-care as a normative life-style.  #SelfCareMovement!

Peace, Love, & Self-Care,

Erlene

Erlene Grise-Owens, EdD, LCSW, MSW, MRE, is a Associate in The Wellness Group, ETC.  This LLC supplies analysis, coaching, and session for organizational wellness and practitioner well-being. Dr. Grise-Owens is lead editor of The A-to-Z Self-Care Handbook for Social Workers and Other Helping Professionals.  As a former school member and graduate program director, she and a small (however mighty!) group of colleagues carried out an initiative to advertise self-care as a part of the social work schooling curriculum. Beforehand, she served in medical and administrative roles. She has expertise with navigating toxicity and dysfunction, up-close and private! Likewise, as an educator, she noticed college students enter the sector and rapidly burn out. As a devoted social employee, she believes the well-being of practitioners is a matter of social justice and human rights. Thus, she is on a mission to advertise self-care and wellness!
