Alina Beary, an affiliate professor of philosophy within the Torrey Honors School at Biola College, died this previous Wednesday after what the college described as “a tragic pedestrian-vehicle accident.”
Professor Beary joined the Biola school in 2018. She earned her PhD and MA in philosophy from Baylor College and an MA in philosophical theology from Criswell School. She earned her undergraduate diploma in jurisprudence at Bashkir State College in her native nation of Russia.
