A person has been discovered lifeless beside a church within the Geelong CBD.
Police found the physique at about 4.30am on Malone St, close to Western Seashore Rd in Geelong, about 75km southwest of Melbourne, on Friday.
As of 7am, Malone Road stays closed as detectives examine the scene.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Caitlin Knight mentioned the person’s loss of life was being handled as suspicious with the circumstances remaining unclear.
Police have cordoned-off sections of grass adjoining to St. Peter and Paul’s Church, situated on the intersection of Mercer and Malone streets.
