Assistant Professor Ashley Cureton has obtained the 2024 Lester Monts Award from the U-M Heart for Instructional Outreach. The Lester Monts Award is a distinguished honor for college and employees who’ve collaborated with our workforce and contributed exceptionally to advancing academic outreach on campus and past. Cureton was chosen for her inspiring dedication to initiatives together with the Michigan Pre-Faculty and Youth Convention, and Elevate Students; the event of recent collaborations with college companions; and her service and vital contributions within the area of social work.
