So begins an open letter from Gaza lecturers and directors.

It continues:

We name upon our associates and colleagues around the globe to withstand the continued marketing campaign of scholasticide in occupied Palestine, to work alongside us in rebuilding our demolished universities, and to refuse all plans searching for to bypass, erase, or weaken the integrity of our tutorial establishments. The way forward for our younger folks in Gaza relies upon upon us, and our means to stay on our land with the intention to proceed to serve the approaching generations of our folks…
