In lower than two weeks, the Journal of the American Philosophical Association (JAPA) will transition into an open entry journal.

Heather Battaly (Connecticut), editor-in-chief of JAPA, writes:

The Editorial Crew of JAPA is delighted to announce that every one articles accepted for publication within the Journal of the American Philosophical Affiliation from July 9 onwards shall be Open Entry, printed with a Creative Commons license and freely obtainable to learn on-line.

We’ve an Open Entry possibility for each writer: the prices of open entry publication shall be coated by agreements between the publisher and the author’s institution, cost of APCs (Article Processing Expenses) from grants or different funds, or else waived solely, making certain each writer can publish and luxuriate in the advantages of Open Entry.

The journal will proceed to be printed by Cambridge College Press.
