The Vital Want for College Social Staff: Enhancing Scholar Success by way of H.R. 7037
College Social Staff Enhancing Scholar Success Act (H.R. 7037)
This invoice amends the Elementary and Secondary Schooling Act of 1965 to authorize the Division of Schooling to award renewable grants to high-need native academic businesses to retain or rent extra faculty social employees. Grantees could use the funds to reimburse faculty social employees for bills they incur in rendering providers. Grant-funded social employees should goal their providers to the highest-need college students. Grant funds might not be used to supplant different funds used for hiring and retaining faculty social employees.
