Hi there once more,

That is the primary time making an attempt out the brand new blogger format, so I hope it really works out okay.

I’ve been busy this weekend getting jobs performed whereas the solar is shining and the times are gentle. It wont be lengthy and the warmth shall be right here. I have to get mulch put across the veggies and crops.

It’s Fathers day tomorrow, so I shall be going to see my dad within the afternoon.

I observed this gorgeous flower on my Moth orchid this morning. I’ve moved it to a brand new spot hanging within the laundry window and it appears to be very joyful.

The quandongs are ripening quick with this heat climate.

Leeks among the many nettles…

New leaves on the mulberry tree.

Apricot blossom.

Nectarine blossom.

Fig.

Orange blossom.

Grapevines coming to life.

Fallen fruit.

The final of the tiger tomatoes. The vines have been pulled out to make method for brand new crops.

In with zucchinis.

And cucumbers.

This gorgeous wattle caught my eye.

First quandongs of the season…

I needed to present you this stunning Spring show of flowers within the native TAFE car-park. So pleased with our council for planting these pretty shows throughout our city.

Bee enterprise…

I bought stung close to my eye by one among our bees! Evidently I’ve had a really uncomfortable couple of days with a swollen face and my proper eye pushed shut though I used to be in a position to open it barely because the day wore on. Our bees determined to swarm, so Phil needed to shortly arrange one other hive to recapture them. They’re all properly buzzing round once more, though they appear to be extra aggressive right now of yr as I discovered ha! We now have gone from 4 hives to seven and two small nuke containers. Phil was requested to go and rescue a swarm the opposite day, which he did efficiently. We’re going to have to put a few of the hives on our buddies properties as I believe there are too many bees for us to have right here now. We did a small honey pull to make room for our increasing colonies.

The swarm…

Marmalade…I managed to get this made by means of the week. I’m not pleased with this batch as a result of I cooked it a bit lengthy and it went too darkish, however that doesn’t have an effect on the yummy candy style. In my protection I used to be battling a swollen sore face lol!

It’s getting heat right here shortly with the temperature on Monday being 34C {93.2F}.

What have you ever been as much as on this very first Spring weekend?

xTania
