That is the second  jumble sale I have been to on this church. The primary one was after we had simply come out of lockdown in August 2020…..with socially distanced queueing, all masked and sanitized……..looks like a unique world now issues are again to regular – regardless of the doom mongers who stated life would by no means be regular once more…….mine is. Properly, as regular because it’s prone to get now.

This church is not one I will return to go to for a particular publish, it is a very typical church for a small Suffolk village shut beside the A140, Ipswich to Norwich street. No stained glass and no excellent issues of curiosity besides maybe the steps you’ll be able to see within the third picture by the hymn quantity board. They might have as soon as led as much as the rood loft – lengthy gone………………

A gallery, or platform, atop a rood display, used for the rood (crucifix)
and generally for musicians or singers. Most rood lofts and certainly most
roods, have been destroyed through the Reformation

Wonderful blossom on the timber within the churchyard.

I did not discover something thrilling amongst the jumble and simply spent £2 on a bag of fowl feed fat-balls.

Then again throughout the A140 to a different village church….and one other publish.

Again Tomorrow

Sue
