It’s fruit season people and if you’re not adding gorgeous summer fruit to every recipe WYD?
Kidding. But in all seriousness, it’s time to stock up on all of those beautiful berries, peaches, citrus, and yes, avocados (a fruit) so that you can start making my absolute favorite fresh fruit desserts for summer.
These fruit dessert recipes are my go-to recipes to make after hitting the farmer’s market or buying every container of berries on sale at Whole Foods. You’ll find bars, cakes, no bake treats, crisps and more.
Can I use frozen fruit?
Sure! If you plan to bake with any frozen fruit, I recommend letting the fruit thaw and then draining off the liquid before adding them to your recipe. For berries, you can also toss them in a little flour before baking with them so that the color doesn’t dye your baked treat.
I split up all of these delicious treats into berries & cherries, banana, apples, pears & peaches, citrus, and avocado so that you can find the perfect dessert with any fruit that you have on hand. They’re perfect for all of your summer BBQ, party and potluck needs!
