“Hope is the Oxygen” — Michigan Social Work Hosts Darren Walker for Its Second Social Justice Changemaker Lecture

Earlier this month, the College of Social Work introduced Darren Walker, president of the Ford Basis, within the College’s second annual Social Justice Changemaker Lecture. This system, “Social Change in Motion: The way to be a change agent in a world that feels uncontrolled,” featured a dialog during which Walker and Dean Beth Angell explored methods to be a change agent throughout difficult instances and mentioned how philanthropy can be utilized as a power for social change.
