They’re at present working a fundraiser, with help from the Marc Sanders Foundation (MSF).

Donations could also be made here. Under are extra particulars about MAP and its fundraiser.

The chapters of MAP at faculties and universities around the globe “plan and oversee all kinds of programming, together with studying teams, summer season faculties, help teams, Ok-12 packages, and so forth,” in keeping with MAP consultant Josh Petersen (College of Michigan). He writes:

MAP Worldwide serves a central organizing function for these chapters by elevating and distributing funds, working our personal programming, and supporting our many chapters of their day-to-day actions.

MAP continues to develop at a staggering charge. We now oversee almost 200 chapters in over a dozen international locations in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. Our present working funds isn’t almost adequate to help all of our chapters’ monetary wants: every year, we should flip down a big variety of funding proposals from our chapters. By elevating funds, we’re hoping to be higher in a position to present extra funding to chapters which don’t obtain funding from their house departments and increase our personal programmatic choices to a wider viewers.

This yr, the MSF has joined compelled with MAP: for the primary $10,000 in charitable donations which MAP receives, MSF will present MAP with an identical donation.

Mr. Petersen says, “this can be a very thrilling alternative for MAP, and we actually hope that the philosophical group will help us benefit from this dollar-matching program.” MAP is a registered nonprofit, and donations to MAP are tax-deductible.
