Soften the butter and blend within the sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla to the sugar/butter combination. Combine nicely.
Add the dry elements to the combination. Then add within the bitter cream. Combine nicely till all of the elements are blended.
Roll out the dough on a floured floor. Make cut-outs with cookie cutters.
Bake at 400F, on a greased cookie sheet, for about 8 minutes or till they begin to get barely browned.
Strawberry Frosting Recipe
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 t. vanilla
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 1/8 c strawberry juice
Combine collectively all of the elements for the frosting. For the “strawberry juice” I simply took frozen strawberries and thawed them within the microwave. Then I strained the juice out of them and blended the juice into the frosting.
