Meals We Ate

As I discussed earlier than, this summer season, my meal plans will likely be extra of an outline as a result of they aren’t as a lot meals as pieced-together issues that we eat from the backyard!

This week the one factor we had prepared from the backyard was just a little little bit of rhubarb, which we used to make Rhubarb Crisp. It was tasty! I ought to have greens prepared this week.

Virtually each meal this week was one thing quite simple that we put collectively rapidly like hard-boiled eggs, summer season sausage, fruits, carrots and ranch dressing, and many others. We merely gathered up no matter was readily available and straightforward and made a meal from it! For breakfasts I made French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Oatmeal, and we had cereal for a day on the go. Lunches had been picnic fashion, quesadillas, or on one of many cooler days…soup.

Purchasing I Did

I’ve been dwelling working all week. Apart from shopping for some vegetation and flowers on Mom’s Day I skipped the purchasing!

Laborious to see however that is our banty frizzle hen that needed nothing greater than to handle the chicks we hatched out. She’s doing a fantastic job!

Exterior Tasks We Labored On

This was an enormous week of outdoor work, identical to subsequent week will likely be. I labored arduous on cleansing up the home gardens. I planted flowers, corn, rhubarb, and can get the raspberries in quickly too.

Then it was a LOT of weeding. We had a bunch of rain firstly of the week so the grass and weeds have come up like loopy. I labored on getting solar burnt getting the beds weeded. I feel I’ve performed all however 2 in the home gardens.

I’ll be engaged on planting all weekend now that it’s barely drier. Corn, beets, and carrots all going within the floor lastly!

The one time I used to be inside this week was to eat and sleep and work on the weblog!

Trying Forward to Subsequent Week
