A. In Buddhism, being deluded by illusions is commonly in comparison with dreaming. The other of being deluded by illusions is to see issues as they’re, which is in comparison with awakening from a dream. That is why the phrase ‘awakening’ is used as a synonym for enlightenment in Buddhism.
In response to the Diamond Sutra, Buddha mentioned, “When you can see all the pieces as in the event you have been seeing it in a dream, you’ll be able to see the true-Self.” Nonetheless, the phrases ‘seeing all the pieces as in the event you have been seeing it in a dream’ don’t make a lot sense to you till you realise the actual fact, that’s, till you’re enlightened, simply as you don’t realise that you just have been haunted by nightmares till you awaken out of your dream.
The aim of Buddhism is to assist individuals to awaken from their desires, and Zen meditation is a sort of follow for awakening from desires.
