When a monk was making a farewell speech, grasp Daeja mentioned, “The place are you going?” The monk mentioned, “I’m going to Gang-seo.” The grasp requested, “Can you are taking me?” The monk answered, “I can not take even one who’s superior to you, to not point out you.”
Scholar: “Why can’t the monk take the grasp?”
Grasp: “As a result of he degrades the grasp to a sentient being if he takes him.”
Commentary:
The Buddha neither comes nor goes.
