Catherine Hundleby, affiliate professor of philosophy on the College of Windsor, has died.

Professor Hundelby labored in epistemology, the philosophy of argumentation, and feminist philosophy, combining these pursuits in latest works reminiscent of “Feminist Approaches to Argumentation,” for the Stanford Enyclopedia of Philosophy and  “Thinking Outside-In: Feminist Standpoint Theory as Epistemology, Methodology, and Philosophy of Science” within the Routledge Handbook of Feminist Philosophy of Science. Professor Hundleby joined the philosophy college at Windsor in 2003. Her major appointment was within the Division of Philosophy, and she or he was cross-appointed in Girls’s and Gender Research. She created and directed the college’s interdisciplinary PhD program in Argumentation Studies and was a fellow of the Centre for Analysis in Reasoning, Argumentation and Rhetoric.
