Three MSW Students Are Finalists for the Michigan Health Equity Challenge

MSW college students Wolfgang Bahr, Sarah Shimizu and L Tantay have all had tasks chosen for the Michigan Well being Fairness Problem, which gives assist for U-M grad college students working with community-based organizations in creating multidisciplinary initiatives that handle well being care inequities.

Bahr and MPH scholar Irving Suarez are creating a program for Latin American immigrants to deal with coronary heart illness via stress administration and neighborhood well being management initiatives.

Shimizu and Tantay’s mission focuses on bettering LGBTQIA+ communities via capability constructing coaching and direct psychological well being funding for LGBTQA+ Detroiters of coloration.
