The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has introduced its new class of fellows, and a few philosophers are amongst them.
Many of the 502 newly named fellows are scientists and engineers, however there are additionally a small variety of researchers within the humanities and social sciences.

The AAAS fellowships are “a distinguished lifetime honor throughout the scientific group.” According to the AAAS, “the brand new Fellows will obtain a certificates and a gold and blue rosette pin (representing science and engineering, respectively) to commemorate their election and will likely be celebrated at a discussion board on September 21, 2024” in Washington, DC.
