It has been actually chilly all week. We had the ‘Blackthorn Winter’ and now ‘The Cowslip Winter’….about time we had some spring. On some nights the temperature forecast was so low that I introduced the greenhouse vegetation in to face on the ground simply contained in the patio doorways, different nights I simply coated them with fleece. And naturally it rained, not all day on a regular basis however someday on most days. It is actually getting me down and I’ve had a number of days feeling nicely underneath par hibernating on the sofa with snooker on TV and e book in hand.
Anyway………..after I went up the highway for the Following A Tree publish final weekend, at a second when it wasn’t raining, I took this photograph of the view over the village.. The Barley or Wheat is rising nicely.
On the opposite aspect of the highway this large area is lately drilled – Barley? Wheat? I appeared however could not discover any seed within the drill traces so it is perhaps a spring sowing of Oil-seed Rape because the seeds of this are tiny.

I have been sorting photographs on and off all week and placing them into my new photograph storage field, discovered some very previous ones to share on native Fb Teams. However a few of the photographs is making me so unhappy for a life misplaced that I’ll should cease!
