Lauener Prizes in Philosophy Awarded

The Lauener Foundation for Analytical Philosophy final week awarded its two prizes.

At a ceremony held at Haus der Universität, Bern, Switzerland on Thursday, the inspiration awarded its 2022 Prize for an Excellent Oeuvre in Analytical Philosophy to Susan Wolf, Edna J. Koury Distinguished Professor of Philosophy on the College of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Professor Wolf works primarily in ethics, together with the which means of life, love, freedom and ethical duty, and different associated topics.

It additionally awarded its 2022 Prize for Up-and-Coming Philosophers to Matthieu QuelozJunior Analysis Fellow at Wolfson Faculty and a Member of the School of Philosophy on the College of Oxford. Dr. Queloz works in metaphilosophy, epistemology, metaethics, the idea of motion, and the historical past of philosophy from the eighteenth to the 20 th century.
