Larry Laudan, an influential thinker of science and regulation, died on August twenty third, 2022.
Professor Laudan is the creator of Progress and Its Problems, Science and Values: The Aims of Science and Their Role in Scientific Debate, Beyond Positivism and Relativism: Theory, Method, and Evidence, Truth, Error, and Criminal Law: An Essay in Legal Epistemology, and lots of different works, listed here and here.
Professor Laudan earned an undergraduate diploma in physics on the College of Kansas earlier than occurring to do graduate work in philosophy at Princeton College and the College of Cambridge.
