Bodhidharma, sensing that the emperor couldn’t perceive him, crossed the Yangtze river and went to a different nation known as Wi. Later the emperor of Yang regretted failing to recognise him and wished to ship for him. Then, grasp Ji-Gong stated to him, “Don’t attempt to deliver him again. He won’t ever return even if you happen to ship all of the folks for him.”
Pupil: “Why did Ji-Gong say that Bodhidharma would by no means return even when the emperor of Yang despatched all of the folks for him?”
Grasp: “What might be introduced and brought shouldn’t be Bodhidharma.”
Commentary:
The Buddha neither comes nor goes however is with us wherever we might go.
